We’re Going to the RAMMY’s!
Guess who is one of the newest members of the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington?
You might best know RAMW as the organization who coordinates the popular Restaurant Weeks around DC. But their focus on creating partnerships among the local food community is why we are most excited to be a new addition to the Association.
Two weeks ago, several members of RAMW came to Miriam’s Kitchen to prepare a homemade meal for our homeless guests. Special thanks to Bastille’s Michelle Poteaux, Matchbox Restaurant Group’s Fred Herrmann, Black Restaurant Group’s Jeff Black, Passion Food Hospitality’s Gus DiMillo, Blue Duck Tavern’s Andrew Davidson, and RAMW President Kathy Hollinger for cooking with us.
At Miriam’s Kitchen, we uphold the same values as the top restaurants in the city. As new members of RAMW we look forward to joining the region’s top restaurateurs and chefs at The RAMMY Awards Gala on Sunday, June 23. The awards honor the hard working individuals who add flavor to the Metropolitan Washington Area and delight us with what they put on the table. Just like our goal to serve the healthiest, tastiest meals to our guests at Miriam’s Kitchen (while we’re working towards our goal of ending chronic homelessness, of course!).
