6/16: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Girard Street Senior Apartments
Back in February we told you the project had started, now we’re thrilled to invite you to the ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 16th! This new 25-unit building has10 units dedicated to permanent supportive housing. MK was chosen as the non-profit partner to provide supportive services to those guests. This is just one example of how the real estate industry can help end chronic homelessness in DC! Folks from MK will be there, including some of the guests who have been matched to the new units. We hope you can join us too, so RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
6/17: Find out how to join our awesome core of volunteers
From meals to housing, Miriam’s Kitchen plays a critical role in ending chronic homelessness in DC. Find out the many ways you can join these efforts by attending the next volunteer orientation on Friday, June 17th at 4:30pm Register now to be a part of it.
6/22: Breakfast Tour of MK with Catherine Crum

Now you, too, can learn all about our amazing case management team and how they help our guests to improve their lives. Come to breakfast here at MK on Wednesday, June 22 at 8:00am. However, we need to know that you’re coming, so RSVP to Brenda at Brenda.email@example.com
Our Outreach Team has been hitting the streets to help end chronic homelessness, but we need your help! There is still time to support their efforts! Give before June 30 to make sure your support goes to direct program costs.
Your are an important part of our work, so I hope you’ll be able to join us at one (or more!) of these events. Together, we can provide more than a meal and end chronic homelessness.
