A Match To Spread Kindness

A Match To Spread Kindness

Our guests experiencing homelessness depend on the kindness of others.
Unfortunately, many of the places our guests have been able to turn to—to get a good meal, wash their hands, use the restroom, and access critical care—have been forced to shut down.

We have been heartened by the 632 community members—including 374 first-time donors—who have donated to our COVID-19 emergency response efforts.

Support from caring neighbors like you is crucial to sustaining our front-line work to keep our guests safe, healthy and informed—for as long as it is needed.

And we have exciting news to share with you.

To help create a kinder community that looks out for each other, NESTLÉ USA will match new or increased monthly donations to Miriam’s Kitchen (up to $25,000).

By becoming a monthly donor, you will join the MK Club—a community of recurring donors whose acts of kindness combine to create transformational change from meals to housing.

As a member of the MK Club, you will:

  • Receive special Monthly Mission Moment updates that you have made possible
  • Enable Miriam’s Kitchen to respond to our guests’ most urgent needs and plan for the future
  • Simplify your charitable giving and make a huge difference in the lives of our guests and in our community

Join the MK Club now and your monthly donations will do TWICE THE GOOD for your neighbors and your community. This means every $1 you donate will provide twice the meals and more.

NESTLÉ USA shares our belief that a delicious, made-from-scratch meal can spur conversations, build connections, and lead to long-term change.

Over the past few years, they have supported our mission to end chronic and veteran homelessness through their leadership on our board, monthly volunteering, in-kind contributions, and financial support.

The matching grant is part of their global efforts to respond to the coronavirus and tackle food insecurity.

If you have ever wanted to do more for your neighbors experiencing homelessness, then join the MK Club and become monthly donor.

Thank you for helping us to create a kinder community for our guests experiencing homelessness.

Your neighbor,

Scott Schenkelberg
