In order to focus the work of each department, included in our strategic plan are specific priorities for the organization. The Strategic Plan and Priorities guide the development of each Department’s Annual SMART goals. Below are the Strategic Priorities and the Fiscal year 2019 Department SMART Goals.
How were the department SMART goals created?
Every June and July, each team at Miriam’s Kitchen take the time to step away from their daily tasks and plan for the coming fiscal year. During the planning process, each team develops their new SMART goal and a comprehensive plan to achieve the goal. Throughout the year, teams use their SMART goal and plan to prioritize their work and make the largest impact on ending chronic homelessness. We define a SMART goal as Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
