We’re so glad you’re interested in volunteering at Miriam’s Kitchen and helping to end chronic homelessness in D.C.!

All volunteers need to commit to at least one shift per month on an ongoing basis. By attending our orientation, you acknowledge and agree to this commitment. Please note you must attend an orientation before you can begin volunteering.

We have a Virtual Volunteer Orientation that you can “attend” at any time that works for you.  If you’re interested in attending, please email Martha Wolf at martha@miriamskitchen.org Here is some helpful information on volunteering at Miriam’s Kitchen – General Guidelines and FAQ’s.
